Gabrielle is a strong leader who does what she thinks is right. She can't forgive herself for a mistake she made, and she thinks that Erik can't forgive her either. Erik has never figured out why Gabrielle pushed him away, but the love he has for her never died. This was a wonderful story that doesn't shrink from the realities of Gabrielle and Erik's lives, but at the same time really makes you feel for both of them, mistakes and all. I can't say enough about this fantastic book, it kept me thinking and wondering what was going on with Erik and Gabrielle long after I finished. Her Last Words is definitely one you shouldn't miss!
